When we were approached to create the marketing brochure for the Johnnie Walker Experience on Princes Street, Edinburgh, the stakes were high. This landmark building is not only part of Diageo’s £185 million investment into whisky tourism but also houses the world’s most famous whisky brand’s flagship visitor experience.

With a tight deadline and a premium asset to showcase, we quickly got to work. The brochure had to reflect the significance of the property—a Grade B listed building with sweeping views of Edinburgh Castle—and convey the exclusive nature of the sale. Every detail, from the photography to the design, had to speak to the building’s history and contemporary transformation.
We delivered a sleek, high-quality brochure both digitally and in print, capturing the essence of the Johnnie Walker Experience with minimal revisions. The result? A marketing tool that truly represented the property’s value, resulting in immediate impact and strong interest.

As Tony Hordon, Managing Director, said: “We worked with Fifth House on a confidential, time-sensitive project that also involved arranging 3rd party drone and photography services at short notice. Not only did Fifth House deliver the project on time, but the quality of their work and cost-effectiveness left us thoroughly impressed. This was our first opportunity to work with Fifth House, and it certainly won’t be the last.”
Calum Cowe from JLL added: “Fifth House turned around the brochure in a short timescale, hitting the brief with minimal redesign and alterations. They conveyed the premium nature of the sale product perfectly, both in the PDF and hard copy brochures—a rarity these days!”
