JP Morgan Chase's spanking new global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue isn't just about the numbers; it's a game-changer for the 14,000 who'll clock in. Sustainability takes the spotlight here, with a state-of-the-art design by Foster + Partners, the 60-story skyscraper will be New York City’s largest all-electric tower with net zero operational emissions and exceptional indoor air quality that exceeds the highest standards in sustainability, health and wellness.
The building will offer 2.5 times more outdoor space on the ground level of Park and Madison Avenues, featuring wider sidewalks and a large public plaza onMadison Avenue with natural green space and other amenities geared towards the residents, workers and visitors who frequent the neighbourhood on a daily basis.
At the topping out event, Norman Foster said: “It does more with less – more public space, fresh air, light and views – and less carbon through electric, green energy. We are very proud to be here, with the team of builders and bankers, celebrating this significant milestone in the construction process.”
